What is Tagout?
Tagout refers to the practice of placing a clearly visible warning tag on equipment or machinery that is undergoing maintenance or repair. Unlike Lockout, which physically locks a device in a safe position to prevent its operation, Tagout relies on warning labels to communicate the status of the equipment.
